You simply wouldn't know that this spacious charming bungalow was so close to one of Europe's most important cities. Its location in both the Forest of Vienna and the Austrian cider district should give you a clue to the surrounding rolling countryside, which is dotted with castle ruins and well-known to Austrian cyclists. One local organic farmer is officially the best in Austria, and you can buy direct from his farm. Only 35 minutes from the Vienna underground (ask the friendly owner, who lives next door), but also only an hour from Lake Neusiedlersee, 20 minutes from Mayerling, scene of a notorious Habsburg Royal family whodunnit, and from the ancient Abbey of Heiligenkreuz, famous for its gregorian chanting since 1133! More than just Vienna!

Very good reception owners are very sweet, pleasant people. It's on a very good base for excursions. There is nowhere a good public transport network in Vienna. One can simply explore Vienna by public transport. There are plenty of other towns around to visit. Highly recommended.

The apartment has all the comfort you need. Very quiet. The large covered terrace is superb. The interior is somewhat outdated but still practical. The owner will give you a great deal of useful tips for visiting Vienna or the immediate environment. Distance to the edge of Vienna, the P + R car park, is a 47 km, and from there you can directly take the subway.

The house is ideal for those people who want to bring a multi-day visit to Vienna and not "want from a hotel, but the quotvrijheid &" & the quotverplichting a holiday. You can decide whether, how often and how long you want to visit Vienna. And you would have had enough of the big city, you can schedule a day of rest. For Internet users, the house itself has no network, but you use the network of the house of the owner. Adjacent You need only connect to the covered terrace and a small bedroom. If the owner is not there one day and it is expected storm than the owner closes off all equipment related damage. Dan is also the internet connection out.

Spacious home with lots of privacy, situated on a hill, and a great base for Vienna and Nieder-Österreich (all or some distance). The layout of the house we were not optimal (4 good and spacious sleeping places but only one bathroom / WC, small kitchen, little dark), but the spacious terrace, the green garden and liked the convenient location excellent. Homeowner Mr. Böhm and his wife were very friendly and did their utmost to help around us started.

Kaumberg is a small village sleeping under smoke of Vienna. For peace and nature lovers a great place also to the crowds in Vienna to find it a good base uitvals. The house own to do all kinds of things to your of this beautiful area of u200bu200bAustria to enjoy. Gives lots of tips if you also want to track, you need a month to visit everything. Take a Niederoosterijk-Card costs € 52, - but this gives you a lot of amusing bezienswardigheden are free. Vienna is a beautiful city where there is always something to do. You agree to the village of St. Corona where you are in the local Hospital could excellent food for a very reasonable price. Slice the Mountain is a must. You go with the cogwheel train in an hour to the top where you have a beautiful view of the surroundings and where you can walk. We also want to thank the Bohm family for their hospitality and their tips. We enjoyed.

The owner told us that we Niederostereicher karte could buy for 52 euro so many attractions (free) could be visited both in Vienna and in the Vienna Woods. In 1 week we visited attractions worth 135 euros. You must of course be a drive to attractions. Also, the owner has told how best could visit Vienna. It is more than 45 minutes to an accessible parking for three euros you can stand all day. You get easy on the underground public transport, it is best used with a low-priced day ticket (we paid about 5 euros for a day traveling through Vienna). We also visited the Vienna Woods. Zomeroddelbaan, beautiful pools, mountain railways, forests, caves, old buildings such as Castle and convent etc. etc. etc. We are a week and have our good time. We had beautiful weather. The homeowner said the garage at our disposal. The cottage was well furnished with clean bedding. Well there are three electric hobs. We are not accustomed to electric cooking, but you get used to it. Bath towels were readily available.

Have had a warm welcome from the host, however, we found the house very dark and damp, with equipment from the sixties, so did the refrigerator and washing machine. Property is ideally suited as a base for Vienna and Lower Austria and Burgenland.

The stay was very pleasant. We had already in mind to park the car at a P + R and then continue by bus or train to Vienna. However, the owner of the cottage has a card for public transport and the route clearly noted in the P + R we have the best (cheapest) could stand. Within an hour we stood in the heart of Vienna. He also did us the tip of the so-called Lower Card. It lets you do many trips and if you use him well, you just buy the 49 euro cost twice over from there. The concerns were so good above average! Furthermore, the house was fine, with all the necessities of that. The living room is relatively large where the evening you relax. You can sit outside to eat well when the weather allows. We could also use the garage, so the car was safely stowed. The area is quiet and there is a shop and bakery in the village present. In the village Heinfeld what is in the vicinity are larger supermarkets, so that way you are fully equipped.

The Wiener Wald is a beautiful area for hiking (mountain); many trips; Vienna is easily accessible; car parking garage on the outskirts of Vienna; transport in Vienna is cheap and very fast (like the U-orbit); tranquil environment. Reception and information provided by host family is excellent.

Very cozy home. Many cozy living room - cozy and large terrace (due to the weather, but we have to utilize a few times unfortunately) - with garage - kitchen a little eng.Eigenaar did very well his best to make us comfortable. Also had good tips (off, discounts, shops, ...). As a base for a visit to Vienna going too far away. You must surely count on 1h15 before you are in the center of Vienna.

Visit to Vienna we chose to establish ourselves in the Wienerland - to 3/4 hours drive from the capital. Access is easy to Vienna on the A1 motorway and you can park at the exit of the highway in a park and ride for a day 3EUR. From there you can take the subway. We went 3 times in Vienna. The other day at Heiligenkreuz (Abbey famous) - Mayerling - Baden - Araburg. We had a good holiday.
